TX-Cuda Second Place At Galveston Cty BBQ Cookoff!

...Fellow TX members and all others. Just wanted to let you know that out of over 230 cookoff teams entered in the 65th Annual Galveston County BBQ Cookoff... TX-Cuda pulled a check and trophy for both 5th place and then got the call to come up again to take the second place title! Not bad as this is the first time I have entered there...It was a lot of fun and I plan on slow smoking a couple for our next get together...I checked the scoring to see what the difference was between my brisket and the first place winner and the diff was only one point!!....Guess I did good for the TX Guys!!....

Congrats Cuda!!  Sorry the wife and I didn't get to make it out there!!!  My Mom was supposed to come in Saturday morning and called late Friday to say they weren't coming.  Then we woke up late on Saturday and felt like shat the rest of the weekend....  We are planning to attend the Airshow in a couple weeks though!!  Where do I buy tickets in advance?  Will check at LSFM.org....B~TX-Rahman"BLUE 2"

...thanks for the Kudos Fellow TX pilots...I have another pail of the rub stashed....so I can reproduce the almost winner.
