First of all let me tell you I love the TX server's settings; I hate to see servers with the no cockpit option on. Because I like the server so much I want to solve this problem I'm having.
I am having a lot of screen freezes. They happen every few minutes and last from a split second up to 5 seconds. However, I only experience this problem on the TX squadron server. I play on greatergreen and a few others but don't have these screen freezes there so I tend to think the problem is on TX. Is anyone else experiencing this or is it just me? I want to know if it is on my end so I can continue tweaking my settings.
Thanks,
Cpig

System:
Athlon 1.53mhz
512mb RAM
WinXP
Radeon 9700 pro (128mb)
all the latest drivers
In game settings are moderate, FPS average 37 FPS

S~ Cpig,I get the same freezes as well unfortunately, but I get them on any server running the FBDaemon script including GreaterGreen. We're currently investigating the cause as well. We are planning on relocating the server back to the original OC3 host that started it all in the near future fyi, so we'll see where we stand then. SaluteTX-ZenBlack 6

Personally...I believe we play a lot more ......."bigger".......type maps. For this reason I find 512Mb ram kind of on the slight side, maybe I am wrong, and that’s okay too. I unfortunately have the same problem and borrowed some ram off a buddy of mine one night that upped me to 1 gig of ram and my whole FB world quit freezing. Maybe once again I was lucky. When I took it back out ....freeze city. Just my 2½¢ worth.S~TX-FlightRisk Black 3
