Rahman,

Would you have any idea why when I hit a thread under this General Chat forum that an older version of Messenger attempts to launch?   I don't get a login, but the icon appears in the systray every time I open a thread under General Chat.  As soon as I surf away from this forum, the icon dissappears.  The entire event is for the most part harmless and goes by unnoticed, unless I actually look at the systray and see it happen.

I'm running MSN 6.0 with all the new features and stuff, and it is working fine and is always on.   Is there an association hidden out here somewhere that I need to change on my profile?  Anyone else seeing this anamoly?

Not a big deal, just odd.

Thanks,

I've always gotten the MSN guy showing up in the sys tray since day 1. Still do now. It never logs on--I just figured it was part of how the pm function operates, or required for the IM feature. It goes away when I leave the site.
