I deleted FB, IL2, and HL...trying to fix the muck up that happened the other night after trying to load the Ubi Server and configuring it to work on HL.Flight Risk was on comms and neither of us could figure out what was going on here..so DELETE/Uninstall all of it and start over was the plan. I have now re-loaded FB..HyperLobby...all my skins and missions...and patched it all up. BUT, here is the latest bug. When I go to re-load Ubi.com's wonderful piece of work they call the Game Service I get an error telling me that there is already a previous version installed and the install aborts. Did a search for it and ANYTHING called Ubi.com to no avail.....any ideas?? HyperLobby works as advertised....but can't get back on Ubi until I get this thing loaded again...

Please send help before I pull the memory and the Vid card and weigh down a crab trap!!

Try removing the previous registry entries for UBI before you reinstall it.First, remove ubi.com from the add/remove function in control panel. Then open regedit. (start>run>type: regedit) Look for and remove these entries (if still there):HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Ubi Soft >Delete: AutoRTPatch, Game Service, Game Service GamesHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > UbiSoft Entertainment Inc. >Delete:  Ubi.comHKEY_CURRENT_USER > SOFTWARE > UbiSoft >Delete: AutoRTPatchThen install UBI game service again.

Cuda,             I have a file that I got after many hours of bugging Ubi Tech support....  It should resolve your issues...  Lemme find it later today and will attach it to a message or throw it up on the ftp...Regards,TX-Rahman"BLUE 2"

Even though I am still at work I wanted to replay and say "thanks" for both answers to my question. If I get off at a decent hour tonight I'll check the FTP Rahman and see if there is a file there for me...and I will also do the regedit thing to make sure that I have removed all traces of the dreaded "previous version"..Otherwise, Ya'll can catch me on HyperLobby!....Carpal Tunnel in my trigger finger....Rocky...TX-CUDA on UBITX-CUDA on HyperLobby

OK, I am getting sick of this Ubi thing!! I deleted all entries that had anything to do with the game service from my registry...pulled the game (FB) off the box after saving my skins...and just tried to load the Ubi Game Service stand alone..No GO...still getting the message that it is already installed on the box. Is there something I am missing here?? Rahman, if you have some sort of file that might pull the thing and all it's remnants off the box could you do me a favor and look for it? This is getting old!@%$#...thanks..Carpal Tunnel in my trigger finger....Rocky...TX-CUDA on UBITX-CUDA on HyperLobby
