Ok, not sure how this ties all things TX together, but I'm sure someone might get a laugh or two out of these....Judging by certain elements of these pictures, I'm guessing Fall of '89. The writing on the wall has been there since the early 80's, and we felt obliged to pose by it in rememberence of the TX12 ("Texas Twelve") who had been there before us. The bumpersticker on my truck window describes the event... Czhilispiel 17, an annual chili-cookoff/drunken brawl hosted annually by the local and clinicly insane residents of Flatonia, Texas. For a long time, it seemed like the only outsiders to visit the festival were people from my hometown of Friendswood, Texas.BTW, I'm the one with the mullet, green and white shirt. LMAO!
