BUT.....I am trying to figure out wherethe bomb bay doors are on this bird...Huh..Carpal Tunnel in my trigger finger....Rocky...TX-CUDA on UBITX-CUDA on HyperLobby

Cuda, I did some flying around with this bird yesterday and I found the bomb bay doors. Lift the tail feathers and you'll find it. From what I saw the bombs are long, brown and roll down hill. TX-ZenBlack 6

Zen, you must have been flying the "Charlie" model of the bird as the version I had flown last night w/Monguse and Ersky was either the Delta or Echo model. The bomb bay doors were semi-automatic and used the same bombsight as the HE-111. The bombs were semi fluid and would give good coverage when used to bomb airfields.I still haven't figured out the igniters on the bomb fluid as I think it is something similar to napalm?Carpal Tunnel in my trigger finger....Rocky...TX-CUDA on UBITX-CUDA on HyperLobby

Oh yes, someone finally uncovered the lost flight model for this wonderful airframe.  I saw a documentary regarding it a few months ago, and wasn't surprised to find out that a limited quantity were manufactured right here in the States.Lawrenceberg, Kentucky is where the distillery.... err... manufacturing plant was located at the time.TX-Deck out.

Ahh yes, the Echo model, now I get it. I couldn't find the igniter for the ANL22 napalm bombs either Cuda, but I'll tinker with the AI cockpit loader tonight and see what I can come up with. Pretty soon these birds will rule the skies, I saw 2 online last night but steered clear of them specifically because of that beak. Egad man, what dot range was the screen shot taken from?TX-ZenBlack 6

Zen, this screen shot taken with the gunsite at full zoom. FYI there are two bomb loads available...ANL22 and the big load called the ANL66. From what I read the ANL66 was known to cause severe gastric difficulty and shortness of breath when used on either the front lines at Stalingrad or when deployed over forward air bases resulting in an incapacitation of the enemy troops....Vodka, Sterno, and Nitrous Oxide a happy Bomber Pilot make!TX-CUDA on UBITX-CUDA on HyperLobby
