...just picked this up from Oleg's Readyroom.....

For the dogfight missions (on a server) you may use following functions:

1. To freeze daytime changes in the game, add TIMECONSTANT 1 into section [MAIN] of the mission file.

2. Static objects respawn times for the dogfight missions are set up in the section [RespawnTime] of the mission file.

Allowed object categories are:
Bigship - bigger ships,
Ship - lesser ships,
Aeroanchored - air balloons,
Artillery - artillery guns,
Searchlight - searchlights.
The time is measured in seconds. Minimal allowed delay is 20 second, maximal is 1000000, 1800 second is the default value.
Ex.:

[RespawnTime]
Bigship 1800
Ship 1800
Aeroanchored 1800
Artillery 1800
Searchlight 1800

...please take note of the post by Oleg concerning the re-spawn times as I think this is very important if you are hosting a server. If you make the object respawn time longer that is one less object that is spawning on your server and causing lag! Map Makers for the TX-OC3 Please make a note of this as it might make for a more stable server..or any server for that matter!TX-Cuda

Does anyone know if this "Respawn Time" code will work for the old IL2 Sturmovik (not FB)?  I remember that there once was a dedicated IL2 Sturmovik server on the Ubi.com service that had respawning artillery guns at the airfields. Also, is it possible to make static ground objects (like trucks, buildings, and stationary aircraft) respawn? Thanks.stay fast,-*49->WindhawK

For the last few days I've been searching all over the net for [RespawnTime] and I've found that everyone is saying the "1800" represents "1800 seconds".  For whatever that's worth.  >>>I'm curious, has anyone got this code to work in FB?  I tried to make it work on the original IL2 last night, but no luck.  I know I've seen AAA respawn on the original IL2 maps before.  Anyone know how it's done?>>>Another question: Does anyone know how to make a welcome message for pilots entering a server on IL2?  I once joined a server and was greeted with "Welcome, pilot WindHawk from USA.  Please allow 3 minutes for the map to load."  The macro even knew my location!  This was an IL2 server.  Not FB.I've looked everywhere for answers to these two questions.  Now I'm seeking help from IL2 gurus accross the net.  I've got a few tips and tricks in the IL2 Resources section of my site www.IL2windhawk.com.  Probably old-hat for you guys, but take a look if you like.stay fast,-*49->WindhawK

....I also have seen the greeting message while joing various servers both on Ubi and HyperLobby and believe that it is a function of the FBDaemon. There is such a greeting when you join the TX-OC3 server on hyper Lobby so i am sure that someone here that is familiar with the Daemon commands can point you in the right direction. As far as the objects respawning in IL2 and FB if I am not mistaken they respawn after a time by default. On some of the maps that I host from time to time i have noticed this when checking the server after several hours of runtime...TX-Cuda
