Hmm, I may be in over my head here. All I have is photoshop, GMAX, and the Quake engine stuff that was posted. Is it possible to download models and textures and compile it in the engine without having to actually create anything? And can you grab some of the models and buildings and such that are already in the game and use those?

It did the same thing to me after a reinstall. It is looking for a file. Under file type look at the 2 options for file types, then browse the directories untill you find something like this C:\Program Files\Call of Duty\Tools\bini think you point it to cod.qe4TX-KingsnakeWhite 1

Seeker there are plenty of stock textures in the CoDradiant engine that are stock with the game. I also believe you can d/l plenty of premade models. Monguse, I noticed that there is a program I got called milkshape, it will import 3d-studio asci, and from there you export to a file format for CoDradiant. I don't know the implications of a non-native file format and the ramifications of mesh triangulation etc.TX-KingsnakeWhite 1

A note on File Formats:AutoCAD can export DXF. It can also export 3DS (3DStudio) files from ASIC (solid) objects. The triangulation of flat planes and tesselations of complex arcs may pose a problem. However, by using 3DStudio you can optimize triangulation and tesselations.  I also have in my box of goodies a 3Dmesh software called Sketch UP http://www.sketchup.com/. Its an awsome piece of architectural modeling sotware. It allows one to define basic 3Dmeshes extremely easy. From what I can see between us all we have enough software to create anything. So it's a matter of figuring out the best approach. Can't wait to join you guys on COD and kick some major butt. I'm getting COD as soon as the wallet allows. S~TX-MonguseGreen 2

Some of TX-Cuda's bombers crashed on some hillside and in the middle of this mess a sign advertising the next ZZ-Top concert!!...a true TX Squadron map if there ever was one!!...Vodka, Sterno, and Nitrous Oxide a happy Bomber Pilot make!TX-CUDA on UBITX-CUDA on HyperLobby

..One thing I noticed in  map I was on until midnight or so with some other guys was that the maps need a spot where there are MG42's( the fixed MG's) set up with overlapping fields of fire. On the Berlin map it seems that there are no MG's in or near the Reichstag. As the Russians spawn is off to the right(if you are on the roof) and they seem to come out of the woodwork from that area I'd like to see some last ditch defenses set up from spots that would allow for the MG's to HAVE to be taken out before any other frontal assaults could take place......just an idea....Vodka, Sterno, and Nitrous Oxide a happy Bomber Pilot make!TX-CUDA on UBITX-CUDA on HyperLobby
