New Maps on TX-FTP

Gents, I uploaded several new maps to the FTP that you ought to check out as soon as they are moved to the CoD Maps section.The mittenwald_beta features FLYING STUKA'S!! that drop bombs on the troops..these will make good targets for you snipers that might get in a lucky head shot! Also featured in this weeks uploads is a map that is pretty large at over 8megs. I can't remember the name offhand but is is a very large map that has two towns connected by road..separated by some forest that includes bomb craters and other cover for gunners.This would make good cover for your troops to prevent the advance of the bad guys trying to take over "Headquarters". Also last but not least I uploaded the skin file for the "women" of CoD! If there is no read-me file for this explaining where to place it I'll have it translated and uploaded to the FTP later tonight. There weree another couple of maps that were uploaded which were "Final" versions of previous maps. I hope you enjoy!

...I have just translated the comments from "Johnboys" post at his CoD site in Germany concerning TX-Kingsnakes' new map. There were five screenshots postes as well as a link to download the map....as well as showing www.txsquadron.com as the source....here is the google translation..Too only one must a hilly landscape erklimmen around the large zeppelin to reach. One can enter these by means of ladder at the front then. This is divided in 2 floors on the inside. In it are small niches and Essraeume. The courses are quite narrowly inside, thus that in each case a soldier by the courses fit.Play mode: Multiplayer - team Deathmatch, Deathmatch.Version: Beta!Installation: * the pk3 file in Main the listing copy.TX-Cuda...one Shot...One KILL!

....for those of you that have been playing some of these new maps for a while the Mittenwald(Center Forest) map that we have now was made by the same guys that came out with Neverland as well as some other really good maps. This one ought to go into the rotation on the TX server as soon as possible!!TX-Cuda...one Shot...One KILL!

Ja! Herr KingSnake! For those of you that haven't got the new maps yet I would strongly suggest grabbing the "mittenwald" or Center Forest map as this has to be the best map for CoD that has come out to date. Some of you were on the TX server last night and witnessed the fly overs of the Allied transport planes in their invasion markings....as well as having the Stukas fly overhead just above tree top level....man that was killer! Hearing the cold wind blowing over the snowscape and the German recording advising the Russians to go ahead and surrender fading in and out as the wind carried it toward our position was pretty realistic as well. You ought to be able to get it off the TX-FTP in the CoD MAPS section......TX-Cuda...one Shot...One KILL!
