Howdy.  I've been doing the il2 thing since its inception, and have been a member of #401Cdn. under the nom-de-plum of "RATTLER".  I left the squadron because, being a career NCO in the Army I naturally hate officers(just the inept ones, as I explained in a letter to the squadron).  Apparently there were feelings and egos bruised, so I took leave of them in a gentlemanly manner and have avoided the unit online like the plague since then.
So, if you'd like to give me a shot let me know.  Please feel free to contact the #401 Squadron commander, BADGER, if you would like to know more about my 'prior service' with the Canadians at www.401squadron.com
I can fly, I can kill, and I can follow orders.
Yall have a good one, see you in the skies

Hi Cuda, I'm in Central Texas, between Austin(S) and Dallas(N).  Fort Hood is about 35 miles West, and Bush's ranch is about 45 miles northwest.  How many actual Texans are in the squadron? You Are     What You Do          When It Counts

S~  Sgt.Snake,Glad to hear of your interest in TX.  Our interim CO TX-Rahman should be contacting you sometime. So just keep an ear out. [... I can fly, I can kill, and I can follow orders. ...]So do we. As far as Texans I'll let TX-Rahman elaborate. As for me I'm in Florida and with a last name like Gimenez I could be in Texas.S~TX-MonguseGreen 2

While we do not often actively recruit we are open to your interest in joining TX. We differ from the vast majority of squadrons in our conduct. We refrain from squabbles, cussing matches and off color remarks about other players. Our interest is in the benefit of the gaming environment, not in fruitless commentary on the opponent. Currently we have 2 servers, one for Call of Duty and IL2. The prerequisite to membership is a functioning ability with teamspeak. We are always open to the skill sets that you can bring to the squadron. Some of our members have skills in I.T. allowing us to host a web site and run a server, real and r.c. pilots with a knowledge of aviation, and those with military experience, weapons training, or historical knowledge. Take no hesitation in contributing your skills and knowledge to the existing organization. If you are comfortable with a professional ethic and conduct TX will nominate you and hold a vote.TX-KingsnakeWhite 1

Ummmmm, what he said!Nice intro Kingsnake, couldn't have said it any better myself.I'm from the Houston area here, for the most part of my life.  Spent some time in Austin and Nacogdoches (aka Nacanowhere).   I'm fairly rare around these parts lately, started a new job back in early February and finishing up another contract on the side by working weekends.  To make matters worse, or better depending on how you look at it, the wife and I are building a new house very soon.  Too many repairs on the current pad and a long list of projects for the new crib should keep me offline for months.  I'll pop in every now and then to give everyone a big S~ and see what is shaking.Talk to you soon,TX-Deck out.

Nice to see there is still an influx of "texas" pilots Smiley, as i have sent several your way from the ubi lobby, any name with "texas" in it catches my eye. Dallas area here , and on a personal note , have met several of the "texas" bunch, and for all inquiring, not a better top notch group of guys out there, so you cant go wrong looking for work here . And BTW, great to see you again Manford ;)B~   T
