Everyone listen up!

A buddy of mine that plays in the band with me, helped his daughter record a demo for this nationwide recording contest.    Please visit this website and kindly cast a vote for Jaimee Harris.

Just so you don't feel guilty, listen to her demo track..... she really is quite talented.

Thanks,

I think you should listen to all the tracks. The poll results speak for themselves, a spam campaign by Deck. And, of course good vocals. Interesting phenomenon with the American Kareoke  (my moniker for American Idle)  circuit is that the artists are groomed more as mimmicks than composers, arrangers, or inventors. This is the format that is presented to young talent in recent years. Original material is rarely encouraged in these talent showcases. Arguably this is for ease of compairison. I think people with this degree of talent should be encouraged to create and innovate, bringing original ideas and work.TX-KingsnakeWhite 1

Agreed Kingsnake, the whole American Idol scene makes me ill.  Jaimee would probably agree.Trust me, this girl has talent, and deserves a chance at recording some of her own material.   It is nothing for her to get up in front of 200 people at a club and play a solo tune on the guitar while singing.   She's 13 btw!Supposedly if she wins this round, she will advance to a higher level of competition.   The most important thing at this point is that if she continues, she will definitely be HEARD by someone involved in the recording process. Thanks for the votes, she'll appreciate it.TX-Deck out.

Deck,             Voted for Jaime of course.  I'd like to write some stuff for her....  I just picked up the Roland mixer from my bud in Louisiana this past weekend and am getting the project studio set up....  Will post some pics when I get closer to starting to crank some tunes out...  Will probably need some bass-age laid down....blootRegards,TX-Rahman"BLUE 2"

Roger bro, I'm sure she'd love to work with anything you come up with.   I'm trying to hit the website where she has her work posted, but it seems to be down at the moment.  I'll get a link up here asap so anyone who is interested in some of her OWN material can get a listen. Thanks again folks, this will mean alot to both her and her father.(Krista is rallying btw, we need VOTES!  Vote once per computer... not IP)TX-Deck out.
