Some of the larger ships have DMs that must take into account where the torpedo hits. He sank the Aurora with as few as 2 torpedos, but as many as 4. A lot of ships will burn before sinking. Number of hits to get ships to burn will vary.

....not sure but I think this info is "pre" AEP/patch. Also note that some ships can be sunk with rocket fire.I use the BRS- rockets on my IL2's to take them out.I also read in the forum that I posted in that other pilots have taken out ships with Mk108 and Mk 103 cannons.....TX-Cuda"A smoking plane is a sign of a good cook"
