...read an interesting post by "dreyer" in the General Forum and took a look at his website concerning an idea he had. Seems that he came up with the novel idea of trying to reach..and possibly exceed the number of kills that Eric Hartmann had in WW2. He even includes .trk files that you can download for each succesful kill...as well as the ones where he was killed and had to re-set his score and start over. Take a look at the "rules" that he uses while doing this..as well as his posts on "how to kill bombers". All in all pretty interesting read..as well as some good .trk files to look at.

Here is the link....

My thoughts exactly when he writes he likes the 6AS. I love the 6AS as well, but, the 6AS has only a spare precious hanfull of cannon shots. I found the limited ammo dangerous.  I find the k4 to be an over armored hog. "Aircraft scored victories in: BF-109 G6/AS: 38BF-109 G10: 19BF-109 G14: 5BF-109 K4: 4BF-109 G6/U4 Late: 2BF-109 G2: 1FW190-D9: 17FW190-A9: 9B-239: 4Ta-152: 2I've really fallen in love with the BF-109 G6/AS (Pure MG/20mm). The 20mm is more effective now after the patch and thus this bird is a true killer in my opinion. My favorite dogfighter of the luftwaffe, replaced the G2. I don't quite know why for sure but I've had far more success with the BF-109 G10/G14 than the K4 so I've been flying those instead. For some reason I feel very uneasy whenever I'm in the cockpit of the K4. Might be a simple psychological illusion I've developed. "TX-KingsnakeBlack 6
