Gents,
Just an FYI.... My cable connection decided to take a dump on Saturday.  I'm getting anywhere from 30-50% packetloss.  I've called Time Warner/Earthlink's "so-called" tech support and they're clueless.  And to make me even happier...they said they won't be able to send anyone for at least a week....  (We'll see about that....)  So...I can instant message and all, even teamspeak....but doing anything else like gaming or browsing the web is at a stand still.

Grumble Grumble...

....Sounds like Deja-Vois Rahman! Here is what you have to do. CAll them EVERY TIME YOU GET HOME. Try and go through the first level alleged "tech support" and then get your trouble ticket number.Call right back and ask to be referred to the next level....do what they say and let them know that it is still Kaput. Call back in the next time and after what seems like forever and a still crappy connection DEMAND to be referred to the third tier tech support which is located in Houston, not BFE. Ask to talk with a supervisor and you might be able to have the trouble alleviated within the hour. This is what I had to do in order to have mine get back up to speed several months ago. The third tier tech support in Houston is the TIme Warner national NOCV which is their top tier node/network troubleshooting dispatch location....Good Luck!Herr CudaMaster of the Featherless Chicken W/Smoking Wings

Cuda,           Well....with no help from Time Warner what so ever....my connection has fixed itself.  I hate that....On one hand I'm glad that it works again ,and on the other I hate that I can't count on them for help.  But alas....I have high speed again!!!!  Will see you all in the coming evenings!!Regards,TX-Rahman"WHITE 6"

Lets like. . all fly. . and stuff. . .C'mon Rah  lessgitemI had a good time tonight on GreaterGreen. . . like the olden days. . if you know what mean  ;-)  Mostly against international players. . . with higher pings, and it actually ran pretty good. At one point as I was destroying a dive bomber and he blew up over the target that was loaded with AA and flak I had a looong pause. . then all was well, other than that it was smooth.S!TX-EcoDragon

....S~ Herr Ecodragon! I am going to have four females in the house tonight and most of tomorrow....1 Wife1 Stepdaughter2 11yr old friends of Stepdaughter_______________________________Equals Major Headache for TX-Cuda....so the plan is, I grab some "Adult Beverages" that are to be imbided in moderation over the next several hours......turn down the A/C on this side of the house....close the door to the patented "TC-Cuda MANCAVE(r)"....and put on the headphones and find a server with my fellow TX Brethen flying! It should not be too bad as the sounds of cannons and MG's along with the most soothing sound of a string of bombs as they are released seems to have the same effect as the most powereful endorphins I can think of! With any luck I'll be on for a few hours or more tonight(Friday) and perhaps Saturday night as well as we finally have a full weekend off from GTE....um, Yankee BELL, um....Verizon.......TX-Cuda"Caught in the Crossfire and Taking a Break"TX-Cuda"If my plane is smoking it can mean two things... I have been hit and my engine is losing power...OR I am working on a new BBQ Pit and have it smoking just right!"
