....if anyone is close to me I have the pit locked and loaded tonight. Got bored and didn't want to spend all night flying or getting an ear full from the wife so decided to fire up the pit. Here is what I have on right now...

Two pork sholders....
Two racks pork ribs...
A pile(maybe three rack) of beef ribs...
One brisket....
...and a yard bird as I am hungry!

...cooking on pecan wood with TX-Cuda's award winning dry rub at 180/200 degrees....
...will smoke for maybe four hours slowly and then wrap the ribs....eat the yard bird...and load up the firebox and let the shoulders cook all night at 170....

..Plenty to eat tomorrow and the pool is clean, the yard is mowed..and the garage refrigerator has some brews.....

....Rahman, I watch the sales flyers that come out each week and keep the freezer loaded up! Wanted to make some room as Gastians'Pier  had some good sized 9/12 shrimp come in off the boat and were selling them for $4.00 a pound and I wanted to stock up....TX-Cuda"If my plane is smoking it can mean two things... ...GAU-8,I live near Dickinson...down 45 towards Galveston. I was going to spark up the pit this afternoon when I get off work but the rains that I see are headed our way later will probably keep that from happening. haven't had it fired up in a while and was wanting to smoke something other than a brisket or ribs. Might go see if I can find some turkeys that I don't have to feather and clean and think of something....TX-Cuda"There's NO BEER in Heaven...that's why we drink it all here!"
