Can you imagine the time and trouble involved with the government agencies involved with a house like that. You can't just put in a quarter mile landing strip and park your own jet without a few years of headache. I've seen him as a pilot on T.V. several times and I knew he had a gulfstream and a bigger jet, but I didn't know he had his own airport!TX-KingsnakeBlack 6

The nice thing about having money is those headaches are other people'sIt's just under one and a half miles long, and is a private community. . .so it's not his "own" runway. . . he shares it though with only a  few other people so it is probably pretty much like owning his own strip.  It sounds like his low passes in his 707 weren't well received in his previous community so he probably just plunked down some cash and bought the place. . . though he was apparently the first person to invest in the new development. What is crazy is most of the lots are only 2 acres. . . if you have to fit a Boeing 707 and Gulfstream there you must be fighting to fit your house on the land too. . . poor guy. . . hard life. Here is the community:http://www.jumbolair.com/And here is the Owner. . . interesting character. . hehehttp://www.jumbolair.com/Ocala%20Today_files/OcalFeb/right.htmS!TX-EcoDragonBlack 1TX-Squadron XO
