.....Fellow Pilots, I have a dilemma that you guys might be able to help me with...so bear with me!

I haven't been able to fly as much as I would like to as with the fiber to the premise project going on up in Dallas a lot of my co-workers have been loaned out there for at least six more months..making the work load pretty heavy here due to being short handed. It is finally starting to ease up a bit, but this past few weeks it picks up as we just started installing DSL.
Been busy is an understatement! Now I read that Pacific Fighters is going to be finally released here in the next few weeks with the carrier and new ships and such. I also see the pics that Ya'll posted of the bomber cockpits and man do they look sweet! I am sure that we will be able to get some good use out of them.
Herein lies my dilemma..Sooner or later the afternoons and evenings are going to start to cool down....and when that happens it is going to be  really prime fishing weather. Here on the coast, when the water temps drop back down to between 70-72 degrees the fishing really gets good. Both salt water species like flounder and redfish are there for the taking if you go to the choke spots when they start their migration out to deeper water before the really cold stuff hits. I also like to go fresh water fishing for bass and the like with my old fishing buddy Sam when it starts to cool off. It's been pretty hot down here this week...we have broken a heat record everyday this week....but they say that we might bet some cool weather by early next week...at least enough to knock it back down out of the nineties.
Sam has already been calling me to get the gear ready and sounds like it can't cool off soon enough so we can start hitting our favorite spots. We have maybe five killer sites that we checked out already..but I just don't know if I would rather fly PF...or go fishing with my bud Sam. I guess I'll just have to wait and see how the fishing is...

....so IF I am missing for the next few weeks...or up until it gets really cold down here and we can't go fishing because of the bad weather..I hope you guys will understand. Heck, maybe Sam and I will catch enough bass or other good eats like flounder that we can throw a good fry!

....went fishing yesterday and took Eric (CudaJR) along and did pretty good.We caught 15 good sized catfish from 4-7lbs, three bass which I thre back, two sunfish which Eric thought was funny as heck, and lastly I hooked the varmint that was stealing my bait....a turtle that was bigger than a good sized dinner plate! It was pretty tough trying to get him unhooked...but he made it back into the pond. Pictures will be posted later!TX-CudaMinister of Information

Cuda, tell ya what. You should call Sam and tell her to come to Dallas and bring some fiber to my premises. You then don't have to worry about fishing and play PF all you want. Smiley

.....Sam doesn't work for the phone company so the fiber up there is out of the question if she is to bring it! TX-CudaMinister of Information
