....a belated Merry Christmas to all my TX Brothers! I was almost snowed in at a friends house last night (wish I was!) but I was able to make it home last night. Had the rare opportunity to sleep in as the almost EX decided to allegedly stay at her sisters...and when I went out on the back porch I found that we here in the area south of Houston did in fact have a "'white Christmas". With my trusty yardstick I measured almost 5" on the deck by my pool. Had a good day with my Son...ate too much at my parents....and now am headed for Bacliff to eat again!.....for those of you that might have been wondering how the new box is coming....I was able to get online and talk w/Monguse on comms last weekend. I was loading Call of Duty and when trying to load the expansion pack it told me that it saw now COD installed, even though I was able to get online and play the first version. I made the serious mistake of going back using the XP system resore option and everything has been downhill from there. Up until this afternoon when I took a step back and tried something else I was seeing on boot "Degraded Array" on the two drives that I have set up in RAID 0+1 striping. I pulled the battery off the MB and loaded default BIOS settings and was at  least able to get it to load XP properly. I am not sure how to format the drives in XP as this is the first time that I have ever used it, so it's trial and error. I hope to find out what is wrong with the Ethernet drivers I loaded for the MB and get the cable modem up so I can get these patches I keep reading about. Wish me luck as I have to get this thing up and running by Sunday PM before I put the new box in a safe place due to personal reasons.Sorry I got so long winded but I thought I would explain my absence here lately. Merry Christmas all!RockyTX-CudaMinister of Information

Rocky,            We understand bro  Hope you and Cuda Jr. had a great one! RE: The patch:    The new patch added a few objects to laying out maps that should be pretty cool....  The one I like is electric lights for the runways!  I don't believe that a patch for the dedicated has been released yet....bummer...Regards,TX-Rahman"WHITE 6"

...GOOD NEWS!!! I am now visiting the TX page off the new box and everything seems to be cooking with the burners on HIGH!!! Let me update the BIOS,get the new load for the ATi card, and whatever else I can think of and then I'll start loading IL2FB and PF...then get the patches. Also will get the comms software first....TX-CudaMinister of Information
