Gentlemen and Squad mates,

In the last 14 months since being accepted as a TX member I have devoted myself, to the best of my ability, to promote TX in the most positive light possible, every day and every night.

Within the past 3 months I had considered leaving TX because of lack of membership involvement and it's unwillingness to partake (as a whole) in competition and scrims.  I eventually concluded that any discomfort I experienced was because of my enthusiastic zeal.

That being said, during these past months I've been fortunate to have found a common vision in TeamUSA where I can fly with a mindset that parallels mine. Because of my involvement in TeamUSA I noticed as time went on that I liked flying Allied and not Axis plane sets. With the addition of PF and making the B25 flyable I can see I'd never be a dedicated Axis only pilot again.

Knowing my brethren, I know things will never change in that TX will always fly Axis given the chance, I find myself not really having a home in TX.

So, I hereby take my leave of TX, but not my first home. I have made some wonderful friends here (you know who you are).
I hope the best for the squad, have fun.

Goodbye.

I will be visiting TXOC3 when TX populates it like the old one at UBI

The best to the Squad,

S~

Monguse

Salute Guse,You and I have had some long and indepth talks about this over the past few weeks and I understand your reasoning and so wish you well. I think from time to time we need to revisit just what TX means to us and decide where we fit in, I did the same last year and made a decision to go on my own way for a time. I appreciate your candor regarding your feelings about what you want from a squad and the direction you want to go. Though at the moment our paths may be different, I will still count you as a friend and look forward to your company online in the future. Salute sir and may only the best things happen for you. You have a lot of talent and I believe you will find something to devote that effort into. Zen

Well,It's been fun flying with you and I figure we will continue to do that here and there! I see that perhaps you could find a place better suited to your direction in the sim, so go to it, this sim is about fun, and about doing it how we best see fit. . . don't be a stranger, even if your on the red side  ;-)S!TX-EcoDragonBlack 1TX-Squadron XO

I see your point and have considered taking similar action in the past. I think you will be happy with your decision and completely understand the need for more participation from the squadron members. I was once dedicated to the squadron in every regard. In the past year I’ve scarcely been involved and I still don’t have the time to play games. I hope to change this soon but my time is devoted to a number of other items. Currently I am planning to adjust my life plan. This means no play time until my goals are set and the wheels are set in motion to accomplish it. I’m younger than most folks in the squad and if I don’t set a plan of action at an early age for my later years I will count the decades until the inevitable retrospection of midlife. There should be a balance in life to include the activities one enjoys and participation in the squad is certainly on my list. At present I haven’t set a time for re-entry to the squad. I hope it is sooner than later.TX-KingsnakeBlack 6

Well Monguse, it's cerainly been a pleasure being a team mate with you, and flying with you.  I could see your love of allied planes beginning some time ago, and it is reflected in your skill with those plane sets.As others have mentioned, this game is about fun, and keeping it fun.  I still remember the two of us joining TX within a week of each other, and how many good nights we spent flying winged up.I have total respect for your decision, and look forward to flying with and against you in the future.Salute my friend, and hopefully one of these years i'll make it down to Florida and hook up with you (it being -40 here right now makes me wish it was right now!!)

S~ Guse,                Thanks for the laughs we've had along the way.  It is all about fun really...  When it becomes more work than it is fun...it's time to move on.  Wish I had been able to be online more but with a baby....not quite as easy to break away to fly alot.  I wish you happiness in your future endeavors. Salute Guse.... I wish you the best.I haven't been around much lately, but I do have some great memories of a few scrims we flew together as well as some online mayhem in the pubs.  It has been a pleasure to fly with you and I hope you enjoy your pursuits with TeamUSA.  Take care of yourself, stop by and say hello every now and then.TX-Deck out.

Hey Monguse, for starters, I gotta thank you for being the guy who first asked me if I was interested in joining TX,  I really appreciated that. I enjoyed everytime we flew together, you're a great team player, and I hope you will still get on on TS once in a while so we can kick Axis ass together. It's a pity that my location and time zone never let us fly more than we actually did. If leaving TX means you being happier, I am also happy for you man. I wish you the best !TX-WarHawk   :-)

.....Hey Monguse I just read this post from you and understand your decision to move on. I remember when you frirst cam on with us and have many fond memories of the bombing runs we made en mass with other pilots while on comms. I am really sorry that due to some personnal issues that I have had to deal with in the last month or so that I have not been able to get on comms (online at all) and wish you the best in person so to speak. I hope to see you online in the near future and as others have said in the previous posts to either fly with you or against you. Either way it will always be a pleasure and an honor to fly with such a pilot of high calibre. Take care and be sure to join us on comms from time to time just to say hello and chew the fat!Salut~RockyTX-CUDA
