Where do you chaps prefer to get your online pilot supplies from?

I ordered some things from http://www.mypilotstore.com on 05JAN10.  My account on their site says it shipped UPS ground on 05JAN21 which means it should have arrived on 05JAN26.
On 05JAN31 I called the pilot store to get a tracking number which was emailed to me the next day.
After some phone calls to My Pilot Store and UPS, it appears that on 05JAN31 it was tracked down to be shipped to another person with the same name as me in Delaware (I'm still in Texas BTW).
Now it gets a bit confusing.  It is now a 2-day Air return (with the tracking number that was emailed to me on 05FEB01, and the UPS driver has 5 days to pick it up (with 3 attemps) which sucks for me since I needed this stuff by 05FEB05.  On top, UPS seems unsure whether it is a pick up or drop off even after explaining the situation to them.  They want me to create a new label, (since it shows a return to me) claiming that I am the shipper, yet I have never seen/touched the package.
Basically, I have a $100 package (paid for by me of course) sitting at somebody's house that may never reach me, while both companies blame each other for the mishap.

Needless to say, I'm in search of a great standing online Pilot supply.

Man. . that sucks!!What. . . they can't jsut read your address on your order?? You'd think that would be less work that looking up your name and shipping it out to that. . . I guess they have another customer of the same name. Their website is down it looks like. . . though I've seen their page many times before when searching for this or that on google.I have used www.sportys.com many a time, and they are pretty good about customer service, pricing, shipping, and all that Jazz. People also like AircraftSpruce.comFrom a price perspective, check out : http://www.jaair.comI haven't used them but their prices on headsets are pretty good. . . though sportys is close, and I might trust them a smidge more (based on nothing other than the sporty's reputation.)There is also : http://www.avshop.com which people seem to like. . though their prices on some things are higher than sporty's.So to summarize:http://www.sportys.com/http://www.aircraftspruce.com/http://www.avshop.com/and consider:http://www.jaair.comhttp://www.avshop.com S!TX-EcoDragonBlack 1TX-Squadron XO

Eco,Thx for the links/tips.BTW, which logbook do you think is the best? I had a ASA standard Pilot Logbook in Houston (which is at my mothers house...shame on me).  I purchased the Flywrite Systems Pilot Logbook & Journal, but it doesn't appear that it will be here by Saturday, so I will have to either get one at the FBO or overnight one.Cuda,Thanks for the words.I too hope things are well with you and your son.I stop in to the TX site when I get a chance.  I am not able to get much sim flight time in these days. The family is doing well.  Wife is working hard and the kids are growing faster than I care to admit...means I am getting older myself.  And oh aren't little girls so much work?  Just like Mommy, they require quite a bit of attention and maintenance.ATM Saturdays and Sundays are my only free time, and we've been going on family trips on those days.  Starting this weekend I will be spending those days in a Piper Warrior for flight instruction and flight time.  I am looking forward to getting some time in a low wing Piper vs. the high wing cessna I used in Houston...only got a couple hours in before the move though.Cage    ... end ...

Well, first of all, what is going on on Saturday? A lesson or something bigger? You don't want to be switching log books around too much so I would just let the CFI know that yours hasn't arrived yet, you will probably want to get the one you used to start your training as you will need that anyway, it is your record of your training thus far, and while it's no biggie to switch books, you will need to take two with you while you are a student pilot. Just be sure when you do switch books to have an accurate hourly total for each entry class in the book and move these to your new book in the amount forwarded section. As far as whihc logbook, the ASA would be the best for you right now. That pilot journal is cool, and in a way I already keep a log like that. . but it's for me. . . not the FAA. The FAA just wants the basics of your flight. Many would even say that the less you say in your official logbook the better. You want to be tidy, organized, clear, (no whiteout or complete crossing out of anything) if you do make a mistake, do a single strike through of the mistake. These things may be challenged by the FAA, so you do want to record why you made that mistake, but often it's better to do that in a separate book. . .like your pilot journal you've ordered. I have an online logbook with my club at 0O5, and it's pretty handy, the nice thing about it is that it totals each column for you as you go, so every time I get to the end of a page and double check all the math I can compare it to the digital log. So, to get to the point, I would try to get the ASA you alredy have even if it means the CFI has to make an entry in the book at a later date. . . talk to the CFO about it. . .if that is feasible then do it, if not you might jsut want to buy one form the FBO. If there are many hours in your  current logbook that *can* be risky to ship it, and if that's the only way to get it then maybe just buy one at the FBO. . .  it will probably be the ASA, or Jeppesen. I haven't actually found a logbook I *really* like, I just look for a strong binding, and a good number of blank areas for me to fill in custom columns. My current book doesn't have room for "Complex" "High-Performance" AND "Tailwheel" so I have divided the hours and tenths colums on one and use the hours column for High Performance hours.tenths and the tenths column for tailwheel hours.tenths.Not ideal. . . Jeppesen has their proffessional pilot log, thats nice, but huge, and for a smaller log this one sounds nice, but still has most anything you will need for a while: http://www.sportys.com/acb/showdetl.cfm?&did=19&product_id=1550S!TX-EcoDragonBlack 1TX-Squadron XO
