Can you make a case like this out of an ordinary ammo box? What are the grounding issues with metals and what are the venting requirements?

Hmm. . interesting. . .I am thinking of building something like that with a  Lithium Polymer charger built into the face of it for charging the explosive batteries. . . mine would need to be an actualy ammo box though  ;-)S!TX-EcoDragonBlack 1TX-Squadron XO

Shuttle brand case with some dressings on the outside.  The handle on top looks similar to what are used on ATA Flight Cases used for musical gear and sensitive electronics.  Could this be done in a standard ammo case?   With proper motherboard standoffs, I'm willing to bet that it could.Case:http://global.shuttle.com/Product/Barebone/SN85G4%20V3.aspHandles:www.penn-fabrication.comH1052Sprung Surface Handle.15.5mm/ 5/8" Grip. The configuration of this product is a trademark of Penn Fabrication.Material: 1.5mm/0.059" Steel Weight: 0.23Kg/0.51lb  Part Number  Part Description  H1052Z ™  Zinc  H1052K ™  Black  H1052S ™  Stainless  H1052Z/WCP ™  Zinc - With Welded Captive Plate   I've done business with the local Penn-Fab warehouse.  They mainly distribute to retailers and case manufacturers, but I was able to talk them into posting a will-call order for less than $40 worth of hardware.  I think if the conversation took longer than 5 minutes the dude would have hung up on me, but he was nice enough.  Saved about 75% off of retail pricing.  Even in at guitar-mart (Guitar Center), this handle should be about $10.   If you go with a regular ammo case, the handle is already built in, so my rant is somewhat pointless.TX-Deck out.
