I wanted to take a minute to thank all TX-STS pilots who participated all week in the TeamUSA preparations for the Team Germany match.

You flew well, fought hard and made me very, very proud to be a member of our fine squadron.

Some of you flew all week long, and I'm sure are exhausted and may even be making up today for all the other things that did'nt get done (Gun's sort of in the dog house too, if you know what I mean Smiley)

However, it is this kind of hard work and dedication that forges a team into an effective, efficient fighting unit.

We had a very long week of immersive training.

For those who could'nt make it, we understand and hope to see you soon!

S~

Your brother,

Hi Gunslinger. I made it by 3:00 PM and waited until 3:30 PM. Ersk was online as well. Sorry I missed you. Hope it went well. I really enjoyed flying last night. Was not all that succesful, as a matter of fact I sucked, but it's all good. Thank you guys for your participation and helping us train and making Team USA a cohesive fighting group agains the Germans.  Big thanks Gunny for your "eyes from the skies" and helping direct the "strike package".  Also thanks go to the TX high-fliers which gave me a better sense of keeping an "eye out"  above.  I still have a sore neck from keeping my head up with track IR You guys are Aces!!

I personally appreciate the chance to participate, the training has helped our internal cohesion greatly and brought us much closer together. For that I am thankful, but bigger than that, if we really helped TUSA out, I am very proud, very proud indeed. I believe very strongly in community spirit and in collaborative effort so that we all excell and TUSA represents this ideal very well. It is my pleasure to lead TX in participating in something that has brought something solid and beneficial for TUSA and I will gladly offer our services again to help any way we can. Salute Pepper and TUSA, you trained hard, showed what you were made of and carried that determination to victory. Well done gentlemen. Zen

That's gotta sound sweet.  What kind of guitar are you using?  If you're using any single coil pickups, its gotta to sound fantastic.  Lots of snap, I'm sure.

Same here....I've got an AC15TBX, the reissue that came out a few years ago.  Its a fantastic little amp.  Great for small halls and clubs.  Friend of mine has a 66 AC30.  That sucker is loud and sounds GREAT!!BTW, I'm sure the girl pictured on the amp is enjoying the AC30...specially if the Vibrato is turned on

Yeah, they love that vibrato.......heh hehMy main axe is a PRS EG (with a Whaleblueburst curly maple top/pearl mother-of-tolietseat pick guard), so I am using single coils.  In fact those are Lindy Fralin made single coils.  I play mainly Blues type music, and a lot of slide stuff. That amp has three modes, 6V6, EL-84 and both together.  There was a little club called the "Vegas Lounge" down near the corner of 14th and P streets that was my favorite.  Naugahide, electrical tape, decades of booze soaked in the floor.  I ran a jam on Tue and Wed and played in the house band for years on Fri, Sat till I formed my own band.  That amp, on only 1 6V6 (the other pulled) was incredible........pure Power Tube distortion for slide, flick the switch to the EL-84's and BAM....you got Funk and Soul tones...damn Rah and Vox......your going to get me playing again, and then I won't have any sim time!Rah I also have a Mesa 20/20 class A, El-84 stero amp driven by a Groove Tubes trio and a Soldano (S~ California amp guys) with a Peavy spring reverb on one channel and a Lexicon digital reverb on the other.......My other guitars are an old Guild with humbuckers that I picked up from a pawn shop in D.C. for $125.00, a Martin 000-16 (my favorite these days cause I'm getting old and live in an apartment), a red Gibson "Blues Hawk" which I've never quite broken in and a real funky Strat kind of thing that I built from old parts and tune to Dropped "C" on huge strings.......Lifes to short, and there never is enough time to do all the damn things I love.....S~Black 2 TX Flight Leader"In a match, the pilot who kills only one enemy and lands safely is priceless beyond measure, while the pilot who kills two and dies once is almost worthless, as he has lost a plane, a pilot and forsaken his wingman"

Well hell....I never realized that we had such musical talent in the group!  I used to be chief engineer/writer/producer for a national recording artist...  I used to tour all over...  Believe it or not....my day job actually pays more and more frequently...(or at least more frequently than that cheap bas"terd")  I'll have to scan some pics of my travels and studios I've built along the way Regards,TX-Rahman"BLACK 4"
