...I almost forgot about the "Aroma Realism MOD". Someone posted this nifty work around to making your SH3 experience more realistic. It is easier than sopping diesel fuel on your computer keyboard and wearing the same sweaty jumpsuit that you have been jogging in for the last few weeks..""Moved the computer to the laundry room, and brought the lawnmower in there with me (after running it first of course).Between the sound of the washing machine, and the smell of my kids stinky sweat socks and underwear, all mixed with the aroma of fresh and spent fuel; all I have to do is close door, turn out the lights, and bam, I got my own personal u-55. What’s really cool is when I dress my wife up in a blue jumpsuit and make her stand there playing with the dials on the dryer. Although, she did get pissed when I painted it gun metal grey.Ok, Ok, . I’m only kidding, There no way she was letting me bring the lawnmower inside. ""TX-CudaMinister of Information

...anyone thinking on loading this sim be sure and read the forums on UBi. I just did the re-format and pulled two drives and am in the process of loading all my software...one sim at a time!....and with the "Starforce" copy protection that UBi decided to put on this DVD it might cause ya some troubles if you have a multiformat DVD burner/reader. I'm just letting ya know that there might be some issues beforehand. If you have any troubles after reading the stickies in the forum and Starforce is making you go nuts go to...www.starforce.com...their tech support is light years ahead of what ya get at UBi. I have some friends that are waiting on their third week to hear from UBI...whereas the techs at Starforce answered on the first day after the e-mail was sent. One of them even received a phone call from tech support....TX-CudaMinister of Information

...I think I should be able to get a new "Smoke" MOD for SH3 tonight. I'll get some scren shots tonight and post them here. They look much better than the stock smoke rising from targets that you see ingame. The author grabbed some pics/movies of an oilfield fire where crude was billowing up and converted then into .tga files that can be loaded into SH3. The results are spectacular! I'll see what I can do on the files....TX-CudaMinister of Information
