Howdy TX, We've been really busy over the last year. It's paid off really well. The wife has now recieved another promotion with her company. So, we are moving again. This time we are leaving the borders of Texas to Michigan. It's not exactly Seattle yet, but Seattle is the next step after this. We leave in 2 weeks.
Now about my Cougar. I'm not going to put any more money into it. One of the axis is out. When you pull back on the stick it doesn't respond. The other 3 directions work, all the buttons on the stick work and the throttle is fully functional. If someone from TX wants it, I can send it to you for the cost of shipping from Wichita Falls to where ever. I would send it at my cost and no cost to the TX'er who wants it, but the wife is head strong that I don't pay shipping. Women! I've already packed the software and books for it, so I could send those at my cost whenever we arrive in Michigan. I figure the ones who may be more interested may be the ones needing spare parts anyway. If nobody is interested, I'm placing her in the dumpster (the Cougar, not the wife).
When we get settled in. I'm going to go with a CH setup.

Thanks for stopping by, and congratulations on the promotion! Good luck in the move, that's a big one!! It's probably good you have a stop-over before Seattle, that gives you time to get your instrument rating which I hear you will need before heading up there!! :-DYeah. . .no dumpster for that three legged cougar! Anyone know the cost of a y axis pot?!?!? Best of luck!S!TX-EcoDragonBlack 1TX-Squadron XO

Hey Deck,Both Rah and Eco have expressed an interest, and since this would allow one of them to own a Cougar versus not, then I'll withdraw from consideration. Thanks and Good LuckS~ GunBlack 2 TX Flight Leader"In a match, the pilot who kills only one enemy and lands safely is priceless beyond measure, while the pilot who kills two and dies once is almost worthless, as he has lost a plane, a pilot and forsaken his wingman"

OK. I have to go back out of town. I'll be back on Thursday night. You Gentlemen decide who gets it. I'll send it on Friday to whoever and then that person can send me a check for whatever the shipping ended up costing.Cage ... end ...

For about $10 in parts, I can replace both the X and Y pots in the stick, and another few dollars will get the throttle pot rebuilt as well. I'll be glad to help the proud new owner out, we can work out the logistics later. I've had good success with standard 100K pots from the local electronics shop, and they run about $2 each. The rest of the cost comes from mounting and linkage hardware. Keep me posted...TX-Deck out.
