Salute, I am interested in becoming a member. As you may or may not know up until this time I have beena part of the 20th fighter group. I was also the webmaster for them. www.jointtacticalcommand.net Anyhow I do not fly with them anymore. I know that TX Squad is a CLass A outfit and would love to join your ranks. Salute. Devildog |

We have been at this since the 1st version on IL-2 and notice that just before a patch is released or a new version no one is on comms. Then when we have some new plane or a new FM everyone shows up out of the woodwork. TX-Kingsnake |

...I will agree with Herr Kingsnake. I am now immersed in Silent Hunter III. I guess flying the same missions...same planes....seeing the same UBER A/C gunning me to my chute took it's toll. I also have been with IL2 from it's first incarnation so a breather might be just what I needed. After the re-format of both drives and adding the other Gig of memory I haven't even loaded PF....sure sign I was getting a classic case of burn out. BUT....I remember what happened a few years ago when (Then) TX-Agu and I took a break. We both joined a DF map and tore the enemy to shreds! ....might be just what I needed!TX-CudaMinister of Information

S~ Devildog.As you can see, it may take a few days to get our attention, but when you do, we arrive by the boatload.Currently, when I'm flying you can catch me on Warclouds BLUE Teamspeak, or GreaterGreen except for Sun and Wed TUSA practice.Please pair up with some of us soon so we can get to know you. Thanks for the replies. I will join you for some flying. I realize there is a general burnout for IL2 right now. But the patch should bring things back to life. Plus a break is all pilots need from time to time. S'

Welcome DevilDog! I have been absent from my HE-111 for way too long. After leaving my base at Brest last night I tried to make it across the Bay of Biscay on the surface..."ALaarMM!!" was all I heard before those darn "loaner" aircraft started dropping depth charges and bombs at me. Try as I may...with a full compliment of crew assigned to damage control I was unable to save the boat. It seems that the Brits were waiting for me as I left the bay and tried to get into the open Atlantic and with such damage as I had....and more depth charges I was sent to the bottom with all my crew. Really screwed up a nice campaign if I might say so!...SO...Now it's time for some revenge! I have a ready crew that is well rested awaiting my return to our forward airbase in the south of France. We have some new torps that I was able to trade for that I had shipped in from the FatherLand that will ensure that anything that I see on the surface of the English Channel will be sent to the bottom. I and my crew are well seasoned to the perils of flying a bomber...we understand that we are the backbone of the Luftwaffe.....and we depend on the protection that our proud fighter pilots are able to provide us. Pray that they are able to keep the dreaded Spitfire and Hurricane away from us as we drop our loads of ordinace on the hated British....On a serious note...Not sure what you fly...but I usually fly bombers as I am not up to snuff in a Full Real server in a fighter. With a bomber I can usually make it to target and (with protection) back to base. Welcome and thanks for showing an interest in TX-Squadron. We are a very good group of individuals(and have some killer pilots) that have been involved with IL2 since the early days and I am sure that you will enjoy flying with us.......sorry I was so long winded but...I LOST MY SUB!!!TX-CudaMinister of Information
