....read the descriptions first....then go to the downloads section. These are all good mods as I have loaded almost all of them Some I took out..but for a truly realistic version of Silent Hunter III the mods you want are here. I have been sailing at 74/90% realism and there are some very good navigation mods...as well as sound mods...that you might want to take a look at.

....Aaallaaarrrrrmmmmmm!!!!

GOTTA GET OFF HERE AND DIVE NOW!!

...Herr Kingsnake, Once again...there is no demo... If there was a way for me to get this sim to you legaly I would do it in second! From what I have seen from the people that are able to make mods it looks as though this is not only a good Sub Sim with some killer graphics but is not that hard to change up the graphics and settings as well. E-mail me with some ideas on this. I see on a daily basis hands reworking the various .cfg folders that we see if we look......and they are able to do so much more that what Olec and crew allowed us to do. While leaving my base tonight I noticed that the trees and general landscape looked just like IL2/PF....BUT....the guys on the forums were able to change the trees. If I can find out how they did it I might be able to figure out how to do it with IL2/PF/FB as it looks like the same game engie...although with much better graphics...TX-Cuda420,000 tons Allied Shipping Sent to the Bottom!

...the previous post included a link to the program as well as instructions on how to use it. If you know what is going on with loading user made mods here is the link to the page that bypasses the read me in the forums that I posted in the previous post. I hope this is of use to you fellow Sub drivers...http://www.beerymod.com/sh3_006.htmTX-CudaMinister of Information

.....for you SH3 Sub Drivers.......Fresh off the press..Yeah, The stock Elco. Spicy little vixen.  Dennis 'The Deacon' Hopper might have been mighty pleased with it, if you'd offer him one. Or possibly he might just yell at his bullies. Something along the line of: "Don't just stand there! Kill him!"Me, If I were a bigshot in the navy I'd have the entire crew courtmartialed. And shot. But don't mind me, I'm just ramblin'. The Elco 80 Torpedo boat. Part three of the *MilitaryMod* series. About the only warship in SH-III that doesn't have a camo scheme, which made it especially difficult since the game's lighting system does not like all-grey ships at all. Implementing camo was out of the question too, as there's some heavy duty texture repetition going on. Especially on the superstructure. I've gone thru the trouble of actually counting how many times that particular texture repeats. Get this: no less than thirteen times. Needless to say it prevented me from adding any detailing there either. Not much to go on when it comes to historical accuracy, but at least there's the accurate placing of vents, hatches and tools, as well as an accurately detailed helm station. All in all not my best work. I keep feeling the irritating need to apologize for it, but it's really the crappy texturemapping that held me back. If it wasn't for LukeFF's suggestions and support I think I would have quit this one before finishing. Thanks, Luke! ...here are the pics..TX-CudaMinister of Information
