Wings Over Houston Airshow 2005 This Coming Weekend!!

Folks,
The Wings Over Houston Airshow 2005 will be held at Ellington Field south of Houston on the weekend of October 8th and 9th! My wife, son and I will be attending on the Sunday show at the very least!  We would like to hangout with our "old faithful" show attenders as well as any other folks in the Houston area that are part of the IL2 Community... Let's all get together!! Click on the "Discuss this..." link at the bottom of this news item to let us know that you plan on attending!

The Canadian Snowbirds are the feature act this year along with tons of aerobatics and old Warbird displays! Can hardly wait!  W00t!

Rahman, if I can get some time off I might try to make it up there. Haven't had a day off since before the storm hit. I'll let Ya'll know as there are some crazy guys I work with that are up from Rio Grande City that want to go since they are up here working.RockyTX-CudaMinister of Information

Cuda,              I don't know if you went or not...  I must say that I was pretty disappointed in the show.  It was OK...  They didn't open up the Warbirds ramp like they were supposed to in the afternoon so I never got to see the old girls up close.  Also...alot of the old warbirds left as soon as their performance was over... (B17, etc)  I definately think it's time to find another show even if it means travelling cross country.  The Galveston show is much better in my opinion.  Not as many jets but more old warplanes.  I'm sure we will attend OshKosh this coming season (2006) and will be looking for a large show with more old war planes.  Bloot.Regards,TX-Rahman"BLACK 4"
