Hyperlobby appears to be, but is actually not down.  It's because of their DNS being hosed.

The error shows up as: Error Socket: 11004 Valid name, no data record of requested type

Here's the quickfix.

Download the file "hosts" from http://ftp://69.56.198.2/HLClient

The file should go in:  c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc

All the file does is tell your PC how to find the ip for the server that the HL client is trying to connect to.  If there is already a "hosts" file in this location.   Rename it.  DO NOT mess with the lmhosts.sam file.

Once you drop this file on your system, you should be able to launch HL and connect.

I will be on TX-Squadron public TS server at 69.56.198.2 if anyone needs help.

Here is the actual contents of the file:

# Copyright (c) 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp.
#
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#
# For example:
#
#      102.54.94.97     rhino.acme.com          # source server
#       38.25.63.10     x.acme.com              # x client host

127.0.0.1       localhost
213.215.67.3   hyperfighter.sk
213.215.67.3   hlhost.hyperfighter.sk

Just a small disclaimer...If you don't know anything about computers and doubt your abilities...don't attempt this.  It's simple but I can't be held responsible for you screwing up your system.  Am just trying to help the community.NOTE:  This is a temporary fix until the DNS is resolving once again.S~~Regards,TX-Rahman"BLACK 4"
