1st off, I'm sorry for not popping in a sniffing around more. I'm sure quite a few of you are familiar with the EAA's 1929 Ford Tri-Motor (NC8407) They flew it to MQY last week. I couldn't resist so I booked a flight for my wife (LW Majorguns) and me. I got the Co-pilots seat and our flight or ride was the last one of the day. The old guy that took us up, Took off and climbed up to 1500 ft. He asked if I flew a plane before. I told him I was going for my private rating and had racked up 10 hrs in a Da-20. He said "You will do then" lol Then I was instructed to "Grab that wheel and put yer feet on the rudder pedals" I almost passed out!! lol She was really heavy on the stick compared to the Da-20. As I sat there flying NC8407, The sound of the 3 450hp P&W R985's sounded like sweet music. I started to imagine what pilots and passengers had to go through back in the late 20's and 30's I was truly something that I will never forget. My hat is off to the great people at the EAA that have worked so hard to bring this experience to me and hundreds of thousands of others. If you ever have the chance to at least visit any of they're exhibits I urge you to do so....You wont regret it  S~

That entry in the logbook might raise an eyebrow; better keep a Polaroid as proof.  Cool ride!  Goggled it to find out about the tour info but the 2006 tour has already ended; I will look for it next year.  Their website – EAA Home        http://www.airventuremuseum.orgNC8407            http://www.airventuremuseum.org/fordtrimotor/Again, thanks for the post.
