New FW-190 A3 is OUT in BETA

If you've ever wanted to see what all the late 1941 - early 1942 impact of the Fw 190 A0-A3 was - you must try this new A/C.  I think this is the reason Oleg did not go to A/C prior to A4.  As most will remember, the 190 A4 we have in the sim is a "derated" Jabo (attack) version.  IRL these aircraft had a screw inserted in the throttle to limit power levels.  The throttle would physcially only traverse so far.





NOTE:  You'll probably need to install the "AC_INSTALLER_v2_8.exe"  If your game stops booting at 60%, then you've forgotten this step.

I can't wait till Eco tries this and gives us comments.  FM is much different than A4 - flop is back I think.....

If I understand your question correctly:1) You don't have to back up, but AAA recommends that you do.2) You do need the 2.8 AC installer listed in STEP 2.  Install this (AC_INSTALLER_v2_8.exe) before installing the FW-190A3 file (FW-190_A3_ver1_4_Il2-MOD.exe).If for some strange reason you already had the 2.8 AC installer then you won't need to complete this step.  On the other hand if you used the Unified Installer package - you'll need the 2.8 AC installer as it was not completed prior to the current unified installer package.If you screw this up (i.e instal the A/C file first), your game won't load - it will crash at 60% loading of Il2.Don't worry then, just go back and install the installer , then the aircraft files and it will fix itself.S~GunnyBlack 2 TX Flight Leader
