Oleg taunts us with a mystery FW190 cockpit. . . he says this one wasn't listed as included in FB (ie. its not the D-9), but will be in FB! Also, take a look at that Mistel1!!! what a trip that thing is!!

I wonder if he's hinting at the TA-152, the very long nose FW. The TA-152 was the last development of the 190 series and according to many things I have read was a contender to beat the pants off the mustang at any altitude, speed and agility wise. My hopes for world peace rest on the D9 but I have to admit that due to the shatty treatment of the existing series I do not expect for it to be an uber plane. My realistic hopes are then pegged on the G14 and the K4, we already know that even though Oleg says his fav is the 190 series that he gives uber treatment to the 109's...I think that the 109 the best all around plane in the game, at least with our most common settings. So I would expect the K4 to rule the sky, even over the LA7, all things considered. The P47 I am drooling over, not so much for the sake of a P47 (I prefer P38 and P51) but mainly because its going to be awesome to fly a high performance US fighter...with the Hurricane and the P40 coming too we are only a few planes away from the possibility of a western battle of britain or a defense of the Reich against the mustangs. After all this time flying against VVS, I am REALLY looking forward to sparring with some western heavy metal. As always the ME262 will be a beauty to fly for history's sake and the 4 30mm cannons...talk about a true BnZ fighter! The straight LA5 will give the 1942 games alot more balance, it was supposedly a good match for the 190A5. I will also like to get my hands on the LA7, after flying the 5FN for so long now I have really grown to appreciate its finer points and some versions of the 7 have 3 20mm cannons, which will make it roughly on par with the 190A series firepower wise and should be the best climbing VVS plane, although I doubt it will stay with the D9 and K4...but it ought to be interesting. Lastly, I am very very excited about the Ju87G with the twin 37mm cannons...at last we will have an authentic and credible ground attack for the luftwaffe side. Slow as hell yes, but especially on realistic settings the Stuka ought to do well if it can sneak up on West Red. It was after all a tank buster and from many accounts devasting at it. As long as there is active air defense to escort them in, they should tear things apart on the VVS runway like we do in the IL2 currently. Can't wait. S~TX-Zen"Black 6"TX Squadron CO

Got to wipe up all the drool.....hehehe.I am also looking forward to some high altitude bombing from the HE and TB bomb sights.  If nothing else, atleast in single player.I am looking forward to all the goodies.  Sure I'll have a favorite in there somewhere.I can only dream that it is the TA-152, but I bet it is a FW190F-8.S~TX-CageBlack 5

I'm very excited about the LA-7.  Heavier firepower is a good thing, the 5 handles great but has always needed more punch when flying against the 109 and 190's.The main question for me is....   Has anyone read anything regarding improvements to the netcode to reduce lag, or the possibility of a console server being released?   I haven't had much spare time lately to get out and read about FB in the forums.TX-Deck out.
