Brief: Insurgents backed by the U.S. were uncovered at an apparent insurgent training camp.The discovery was made after the 1st Commando Battalion was attacked while on a noontime patrol South of the Ingress waypoint. As they approached a group of tents, they were attacked by sustained heavy fire from RPG, small arms, and fixed emplacements. Seven commandos were killed and six were wounded. There were an estimated 70 to 100 attackers in dug-in positions. An officer with the unit called in air support. Attack helicopters from Task Force Otkrytka's Aviation Brigade responded but sustained major structural damage and were forced to turn back.
Objective: Destroy the camp including the tents.

SITUATION
ENEMY: USA tanks, sams and armor departing PL (phase line) BLUE for the EA (engagement area).
FRIENDLY: Russia. Retrograde / delay. The ATKHB (attack helicopter battalion) are tasked to conduct an area defense in coordination with the ground forces. The ATKHB will control its assets to cover the main body and rear guard friendly forces in retrograde from EA HIT through SLAM towards CRUSH. Mission success when main body arrives at NVRS airfield

EXECUTION: Convoy and ground units are in retrograde from the EA. Cover the retrograde units from air and ground threat as they move towards NVRS. You are cleared to engage EA NOMAD once the main body arrives at NVRS.                         
MANEUVER: At FAA (forward assembly area) assess direction of threat and move forward of RED LD (line of departure) to engage. Friendly units moving parallel to RED LD shall be guarded.

I've got 3, 4.09 mod missions almost built - so I can leave the server a few times a week to fly Black Shark....

Post there too if you like the missions. Just about every time I go to multiplayer I see a mission I made being played. Funny thing is I can't get in to most of the passworded servers.

I think the missions are popular. People are downloading and hosting.

SITUATION
ENEMY: U.S.A. armor departing LOA (limit of advance) HUNT for the EA (engagement areas) FENCE, WALL, MOAT & FORT.
FRIENDLY: Russia. The ATKHB (attack helicopter battalion) are tasked to conduct an area defense of the areas outlying the airbase from 07:00 to 09:00. The ATKHB will concentrate its assets on denying the enemy designated terrain. The enemy enjoys a mobility advantage over the defending force with well-defined avenues of approach. The defending ground force has insufficient combat power to cover the likely enemy avenues of approach in sectors RULE & TURF.
START TIME: 07:00
TEMP: 17 deg. C
