I'm very glad to hear your enjoying it! I knew it would run well for you considering your knowlege and hardware.
I like the "red eye" and the clouds.
Maybe I have a free copy - but I can't say: NDA.
I did spend money to buy copies to give as gifts to friends and family in the local area. With only 3 flight simulation developers in the world - it's a little thing I can do to help the world and hopefully "grow" more friends to fly with.
Remember - concerning the "ass-kicking" part, King has been on this for 3 months now. You are on what? Day day 2?

Tell you what, go look up WWBrian and Trouble4U. When you kick their asses - that would impress me tremendously.
Same is true for stick settings - spend more time getting to know it. There's not a single flight sim ever made which was perfect "out - of - the - box". This sim is "deep" - much to master and learn in all areas.
Hopefully, you'll find enough enjoyment in ROF that you'll be flying it and building missions 6 months from now. I sincerly hope so

Back to my question, if you have time (I'm in the middle of testing other things - and could use your help):
When you set the "Ground Detail" to low/med/high - what do you see rendered differently?
All the best
Gunny
