I'm experiencing an intermittent problem that's quite annoying. Occasionally when turn on the computer, it just won't boot. What happens is that the post screens don't complete. I'll see EP45 at the top - and the system never gets' to memory checks. USB devices never come on. The only way I can boot is to unplug all USB devices - then cycle power. When the memory check comes up - then I know to shut down - plug in all usb and let it boot all the way up.
I"m starting to wonder if I have power issues. I'm currently using:
800 watt modular power supply GTX 280 300 GB Raptor 1 TB WD SATA ASUS Optical (CD-DVD) - USB stuff - Razor Lycosa backlit keyboard Cougar Xkeys 20 key pad Creative HS1200 Wireless headset TrackIR 5
Also my CPU is OC'd to 4 Ghz from 3.16 stock
Any insights appreciated....
S~ Gunny

The first thing to try is to remove the OC, the next would be to verify the chipset drivers are current and that your using the proper mobo BIOS. If it keeps up after that I'd look at hardware.

Thanks Eco - will do.
I did get it to reboot after a network config and software install - It took like 10-15 minutes to get to the Windows login screen.
Going to check chipset and bios now...
More later..

Oh and did you just reformat? Did you reinstall all the drivers for the USB controllers etc? If you go to the DeviceManager do you see any yellow error items in the list?
You also might want to run memtest, and/or pull a stick of RAM out (careful of the static discharge) and see if it still happens.

Please what are all the voltages of the mobo ?
Make sure also to recheck you RAM voltage if your ram need 2.1 or 2.2 in many occasion the board will reset to 1.8 or something lower and that make your reboot trouble some.. in that case reboot with only one Stick and try to get into Bios and check all voltages.. (basic of PC8500 problem)
Your PSU is way enough for your only ONE card it's a walk on the park.. please do this

CPU-Z says:
1.072 - 1.216 Core Voltage with Core Clock varying between 1999.8 and 2833.1 Mhz Multiplier X 6.0 Bus Speed 333.3 MHz Rate FSB 1333.2 MHz
Can't find where to read RAM voltage in windows - if I remember right (I looked into bios before booting) some RAM voltage section in bios read 1.8 volts....

Windows .. nha go into Bios read first your RAM voltages setting and then adjust it from the BIOS... My Ram for example are Corsair Dominator 2.1v so in Bios i set my ram to 2.1v.. but beware Ram voltage is dangerous it can fries easely so make sure to add the right number and NOT more..

Your core speed varieting is bad youy must have set your intel something control in CPU turn it off. Multiplier X 6.0 is wrong it should be at 9.5 or default off Bus Speed 333.3 MHz well default Rate FSB 1333.2 MHz same.. default.
Definitely BIOS setup is wrong!!

Ok back to default bios - cleared CMOS - loaded default
Voltages - CPU 1.072 - 1.104V DRAM - 2.080 - 2.96 V +3.3V = 3.328V +12 = 12.239V
CPU 2001.07 - 2001.48 MHz BUS 1334.31 - 1334.03 MHz FSB = 333.52 - 333.58 MHz Multiplier = 6 - 8.5
Somewhere, I wrote down all my overclocked settings with voltages. Looking now.....
Need to get back to normal booting - then back to 4.00 GHz
