Request: remove duplicate control assignment with a prompt in the settings GUI so as to not have duplicate assignments.

Yeh I'm so used to using two buttons when Firing in IL2 I made my cannon button, my attack wave LOL

That IS a good idea. So, how about giving the "option" to remove a dupe assignment. That way they can be avoided or kept at the discretion of the user.

low cpu should keep all animations at minimum really imo unbind the button talk + animation.. just a little advice

The ability to extinguish fires with high speed dives in some cases

The ability to slip the aircraft such that the flames will not burn the pilot as quickly.
