Hi all,

If any of you could be available for some load testing on TX-Test server tonight that would be great! Get on TX TeamSpeak for more info!

Server has been running for an hour or so. There are some issues but gameplay itself is lag free with 20-24 airplanes in the air.

Bandwidth w/5 clients:

avg 592kb/s
max 3.1MBs

Bandwidth with 8 clients and 2 spectators:

avg 1.2 MBs
Max 5.6 MBs
outgoing data transfered 629 MB.

Yes, it ran without a hiccup or a single report of lag from anyone, and was up for quite a few hours last night. This was running a modified version of my basic  coops that most of you have flown but with 10 airplanes per side instead of 5, additional ground vehicles at each base, and a train. It's still a basic mission but all the elements are there.

I think the mission cycle issues we had yesterday were a result of two of the missions I added to the rotation that were made by someone else. When I removed those, all was well.

The Q6600 (at 2.7 GHz I think??) cruised along. . .and something like that, or even a lower end Quad should be just fine for this sim I think.

At this point I think we need to see what the conseqeunces are to Rah's friend Kim if the server runs for 24/7. . .will he have any obvious net slowdowns etc?

Of course right now we are testing on his personal computer. . .
