I like to invite you all for the upcomming Rise of Flight event called "Squad Ba

You have to be registered at www.rof-tools.de first.

The basic data is:
Start: Saturday: 1:00 P.M. GMT+1
Length: 16 rounds of aircombat, with changing sides.
Deadline for signups: 20.11.2009 or 11/20/2009 at  09:00 A.M. GMT + 1

I know it will be very early in the morning for you guys, but at least I hope to see some of you there!

If you have further questions please ask me here. It seems the eventleader has too much work to answer your question properly.

I really feel for Longarth.  Gozr used to manage and conduct the International Online Competition Leauge for Il2.  He was always working like the devil, right up to the last minute, to coordinate and ensure everything went off smoothly. It was a thankless job which he performed incredibly.

For all TX'ers - looks like I won't have to start at 6:00 AM CST
I've been scheduled so that I don't start till the 11th Round - which means I think around noon CST.

Sadly the event is called off. Here is the official note!

I have to cancel the planned "SQUAD BAT event planned for 11/21/2009.

The reasons are following:

Team 1 did not bring up an operational plan, entered in the electronic
roster within 10 days.
Therfore there is no slot assignment available.
Without the slot assignment the server-watch-tool can calculate the score
but it can't relate them to the pilots.
The assignment of the slots itself is necessary for both sides to make a
fair distribution of the planes possible and  to guarantee both teams equal
chances.
Moreover, the 16 maps could not be generated automatically. A manual
creation is not possible due to the lack of time

Due to the failure of the planning server-watch-tool has to be reseted. For
that I do not have time and setbacks I (J99 ° Longarth °) generally don't
do.

Team 1 was informed several times and intime in an appropriate manner of the
abuses.

There were all technical capabilities for communication provided, like forum
and teamspeak server. Unfortunately they were not used.

The tournament director has communicated the state of things through an
information mail and mission description in english and in german.
Unfortunately, without success.

I'll certainly drop in tommorow and fly with you guys some.  I'll look for you on the server.
