Dropped all my tax crap off to my accountant yesterday. <fingers crossed>

I did my own taxes for a couple years. The last one I sent it all in thinking I'd get back about $300. There was an unusually long delay (several weeks past normal) so I finally called them. They said there was an error and they had to redo it...and sent me back over 3 grand!   Shocked

That was the last time I tried doing it myself. I don't even try to understand the tax laws these days. They are so dynamic that you have to practically be an accountant to stay current anyway.

I hope you get plenty back King...me too for that matter.  Grin

Hah!
I was doing the same thing yesterday King!   Finished and looked out the window and it was a nice day.  What did I do instead?...fly! Cheesy

I agree with you TB.   I feel one needs to go and get a degree in Tax law to do taxes these days, except Turbo Tax seems to do a good job of walking you through the process.

I like the "fly" part Smiley  Weather has been unusually crappy this winter (makes for good spring though) - I just noticed it's 75F out right now.

You know, once I got my deductions down to the correct amount I've been getting a few thousand back, like TB.
