Just a quick note.  Eco called tonight to let me know he'll be at home this weekend and would like to fly some, check out our new server, maybe tour the pubs.... etc..

I can come up from all this mission building to fly for a while on Saturday.  Hope some of the rest of you can make it.

Sweet. I'll make a point to be around too. I got on Thursday for awhile on both TOW and TX and had good fun on both. More than a few of the guys I talked to said they really enjoyed the high altitude alternative style a couple of the missions on the TX server were running. One of the IRFC guys wanted to know if we (read; you) would be interested in possibly giving one of those high alt missions to Fuby for transition to the TOW server so they can maybe run it with 30 pilots. I didn't say one way or the other and pretty much deflected the question. I know in days past, it wasn't completely kosher to put all the effort into making a mission or three and simply send them to someone else to use, but wasn't sure how you might feel given the online state of RoF right now...

Anyway, I'll really try to get together with you guys this eve. IIRC, there's a chance we might get the 1.012 pre-alpha sometime today. If so, I will definitely screw around in that for a bit, but would very much like to get on retail in the current version too since I've had very little flying time to really enjoy it since release. Either way, I'll be there.

Hi guys!

I was hoping to get a chance to fly with you guys this weekend. . .I don't much care about the format but in RoF I guess I'd like to do this in the retail version so we can go "mingle with the community"* I am also interested in flying on the fabled "TX All Altitude" server that I've been hearing about.

I don't know exactly when I'll be on yet, but it will probably be just before, or just after dinner for me. . .I'll get on TS.

Say King - do you mind if I fix those Albatross "crashing-into" the hills issues you had with "Save The Train" ?  That was a really creative mission that I can put up if you'll let me.

TB - tell you what - I'd be willing to trade TOW folks one of my missions for one of theirs.  I have a couple of their missions from when I flew over at TOW with you some time ago.  I've studied them - they write very very well.  Very efficient and tidy.

They have that "night" mission - which I'd like to trade them.  Give them credit for their mission/give me credit for mine. Or if you know one - you really like more than that - grab it.

I like the friendly relationship that all the ROF servers have - versus the ridicuolus competition between the "majors" in Il2.  I'm predisposed toward cooperative efforts with TOW.

It really impressed me the other night when you brought all those TOW fliers over to test our server.

OK i made my Mic work but the server did stop and we couldn't login before.. something happened.

Server crashed.  I restarted after I noticed (I'd fallen asleep in my chair).

Never seen it do that - on the other hand, never had so many users before.
