FSX Ready

Ok King, I received a new key from the MS Keymaster, reloaded FSX and patched to SP2.  Can you tell me which of the vatsim software programs you are using so I can match your config.

FSInn and FSCopilot are what you need. If you do connect to VATSIM I recommend you try it out at an airport far away from the big airports.  However, way before VATSIM you should try the Missions in FSX and the Lessons. I recommend you at least get through the lessons on VFR flight and then fly them. Otherwise you will not be familiar with much of anything and it can be a lot to grasp at once. Also make certain you can connect to the multiplay games via the lobby in FSX by using a GameSpy account. Getting that straight will make sure some of the networking at least works.

What would be neat is if we can connect to the multiplayer, before trying VATSIM, so we can make a shared cockpit flight and I can explain things. Then we can talk more about getting you ready for VATSIM.
