Is anyone using an Overlay program for Teamspeak 2 & 3 on a 64 bit OS?

No, no one has one mastered yet, or at least not up to Christmas.

I put a G-15 keyboard on my Christmas list. Logitech has a plug in for just that, for its screen, for XP, and TS3 and Logitech slept together for Win7

And it works

er...I am.

I use TeamSpeak Overlay for TS2 (it's a tricky setup to get it to work with Vista 64, but I did it), and I'm beta testing a new overlay program for TS3 as well. It's called TINT and is made by qbnut (the same guy that made TSO for TS2. With some recent TS3 updates, TINT is currently non-functional, but should be back and running with either an update or a new version.

TSO is working perfectly with TS2 for me right now and I'm at a point now where it's almost as necessary as TrackIR.

Oh Overlay Master, what is your 64 bit secret.  Like you said, I too just don't feel right without it.  I hate not knowing who is talking.

I did see the TINT page and it seems to be a real a twitchy beta right now with a new version nearly every week.

I also looked at the G-15.  Sounds like a really nice keyboard but I don't think I could glance down that far to see who is talking.  Especially with TrackIR it might get annoying.  As it is I miss half the chat that goes by because my eyes are fixated to the center of the screen.  I might need to relax a bit, I'll bet I go for 20 minutes without blinking.  I hope someone has it on display, I would still like to put my grubby little digits on one and see how it feels.

Well, it's been a long time since I installed it, but I remember the first 3 or 4 times I tried to install it, it didn't take. Finally, I had an icon and was able to click the "options" button and told it to run in compatibility mode (or something similar. Sorry i don't remember the exact details), but it DOES work perfectly once you get in installed and set for compatibility mode.

Yes, TINT is still a bit quirky. I had it running perfectly too until TS3 came out with an update and made some ofthe necessary TINT plugins nonfunctional.

For TS3, your only other option right now is PlayClaw ( http://www.playclaw.com ). It's free for a 14 day trial and worked really well for me, but the 29.99 price tag for the full version seemed a bit steep at the time...especially considering it offers about the same functionality TINT did (when it was still working).

So, right now, I'm still in TS2 preferred mode WITH TSO working as it should.

Thanks TB.

I was never able to load it, windows would stop the installation.  So l did what you said with the TSO installation file and selected properties.  Then under the compatibility tab I selected "run in compatibility mode _ xp-sp2.  Then loaded the program and it worked fine, Bitchin!

UPDATE:

Regarding the TINT program, there was an update last week that now fixes the TS3 non-compatibility issue and I was able to get the new Beta working perfectly in TS3. Also, the new version is a mutual install for both 32 bit and 64 bit systems unlike before where you had to select between the two.

I don't use TS3 hardly at all, but when I do, it's nice to know I can use an Overlay function with it now.
