Since I've been flying WWII planes lately, I've really come to realize how much I miss this era.  UP 2.01 has developed into a much more sophisticated and well rounded universal and GUI configurable mod package than I thought would be possible.  Using it on WOP and in the Ghost Skies setup, which use different configurations is easy, since you can save these configurations to a file.

It's such a rush to be back in these aircraft, even though the FM isn't near ROF.  What's interesting now is all the moving objects on the ground, with dust trails and the challenge of ground attack with moving targets.

Those shots of the new game show a higher photo-realistic appearance than anything I've ever seen.

Man hopefully I will be able to complete my new PC build before it comes out!!

I guess it's a good thing that I'm devoting more time to getting the website back in order and updated.  Will be working this week on getting us a homepage again like the old site but with new graphics. Wink  Now if I could only get the Planet to upgrade my server to a dual or quad core without much more cost to me so we could run some game servers again....that would rock.

Thanks Rah....

Depending on how those FilePlanet negotiations proceed, I have a Q9550 I might be willing to donate if your efforts work out.

Dam that thing Q9550 is still expensive.

I've considered the quad upgrade for this mobo.

But I think it would be best served to start over with an I7 or better.

Gunny,
I appreciate it but they own the hardware...  If I were colocating a box in their data center I would have had a dual xeon quad core setup long ago.  Unfortunately co-locating a server in someone else's data center is extremely cost prohibitive.  I've searched and you cannot get a single U rack space for even under $100 with a decent interconnects to the internet and bandwidth allotment. Sad

Thanks for the info.  That at least saves me the energy of thinking about solutions that aren't feasible Smiley
