S! All,

I thought posting links for updates that some of you might not have seen lately, might be of interest to some.

Storm of War

Friday 10-15-2010 update - contains in game screenshots with AA/AF, ground terrain details, but most importantly the thread has lots of activity and interchange from Oleg himself.  Don't miss it.

The one theme that seems consistent - is that the basic GUI is themed like Il2.  I think this is a very great thing as hundreds of thousands of folks have experience with it.

Thrustmaster Warthog Launch

End of October, many new pictures in this thread.

For those that have not looked at Rise of Flight in a long time - http://riseofflight.com/Blogs/default.aspx
- You might check in over there.  Several new early and mid-war aircraft have been released - with multi-seaters due to be released soon.  New career mode (much needed) for SP is probably pretty close.

ROF imho, is one of the very best prop A/C sims in existence right now, and the community is getting larger.  Servers are more populated now, than ever.

And don't forget, Il2 Official 4.10 patch is due out soon.  Major overhaul of the simulation with official Moving Dogfight Server, Radio Navigation, cumulative airfrace stress (i.e. the airframe remembers how much stress has been applied in a flight), Hs-129 with high end cockpit, weapons, 3-D model and FM.

I'm sure Gozr will be by soon to update all the incredible developments going on the Jet community, so I'll leave that for him.

S!

Cool stuff..
I have one worry about the Hotas..  It looks great for simulate a A10 or sub jet but i'm a bit in doubt about the quick online fight use on a WW2..  Something as the trim for example in the X45 is great .. well at list the placement is great very easy access for our low budget home desk pit, i use the thumbs rotary to tune my trims on a fly and real easy but in the Warthog it really look less friendly but on the same so attractive...

Opinion ?
