HI, need some help for Server

HI guys , TX-Rahman told me to get ahold of TX-Zen to help me with some info . Here it is, My isp has offered to set us up a game server, on a T1 connection. it cost's us 45$ a month. And we had to put our own extra pc at thier office. So we can have any games we want on it, like i said its our pc. I think right now we have like 5-6 games on it, but we only run one at a time. Some like to play IL-2, and i thought... that there was way to put IL2 up as a dedicated, but i cant find any info anywhere for it. If anyone has any info for this plz comment in this thread. Also if there are any tweaks or good tips for a server let me know,thx

S~ Raptor,There is no console version of IL2, the best that you can do is to host a session and then leave the game running. IL2 uses a very large amount of bandwith per player. When we ran 25 players the server was using 2.5mbps outbound traffic which is almost twice what a T1 line can handle. Processor speed is not terribly important to host a game, though the machine can't be dog slow. RAM is the key ingredient to having a lag free server, hopefully you have at least 512mb installed. There are rumors of a dedicated console version of the game being released with Forgotten Battles but nothing definate...only rumors. Until then if you do run a server you will need to host the game just the same as if you were going to go online and play. Thank you very much for the info. Darn , no at the moment we only have 256megs of ddrpc2100 in the server. But i think one of our clan members is getting ahold of some more. Its a 1.2 ghz pc. I think im gonna have to make a trip up to the server in town, cuz its not wanting to launch right , ive tried the ubi software too, to help launch the game but its not wanting to start the game right, so i dont know whats up with it. Plus both ways i lose all mouse control, we're using radmin to control the server when we want. The server wont be online with IL2 24/7. We only launch a game when we want . My isp made me a heck of deal , we have to use one our pc's and put it at thier office , and they give me a set of keys and a security system code, and i can go up there anytime i want. For only 45$ a month! pretty good huh? Plus being our pc we can have any game we want on it. We've checked around on the web for game servers, and man~ are they expensive. anyways thx alot!
