Follow up : Sent in $30 rebate in Aug for my ti-4600 card. The one I paid $120 and a case of beer for...Called in Mid Oct to check on status of rebat, was told processing date for my check was 11/27.
?? Oh well.Called yesterday and from 4:15 to 5 pacific was cut off repeatidly. At 5 pm the recording came on saying " We are now closed. Please call back again tomorrow".Called again this AM and was disconnected 11 times in a row before some picked up. Same guy I talked to in Oct. You have to hear his voice to know how I know it was him. Homer Simpson on Qualudes.First the guy tells me that my rebate check date was 12/27, and he shows no mention of me calling in in the records. After asking him wtf is going on he slips that when I called in Oct he must of mistakenly given me the wrong date. But he just said he had no record of me calling in..right ? Oh yes, now he sees the record. and he see's the date as being 11/27 for processing.Next he says that he needs to put my rebate on hold because he's showing two processing dates and he wants to make sure that my rebate check has not already been mailed. He suggests that I call back after the new year if I have not recieved my rebate cheack....... Just to be safe he says with the holidays..better make it towards the end of January.Yup, a 220 pound mullet on 2 pound test........
