I believe that the SideWinder is a windows stick.  There is no seperate program for setting up Hotas files.  That might be why the Hotas section doesn't respond.  All the buttons on the MSS are preconfigured for Windows keys.S~Black 5... end ...

S! Gents,     I am almost at the point of ordering one of these suckers. . . I really would like to get my hands on one before-hand though. What do ya say Sammie. . .should I drive out a little west to meet up with you and give it a whirl?!?! Even at 239.00 it's a big wad of dough for a "joystick"!! I am curious where you guys map flaps to, one of the hat switches??? I gotta have flaps easy to get to on the main stick. . .is that little black button a hat switch too??    I am still in southern cali, having fun, but it seems the bad weather has followed me, and my flight review is STILL only halfway done :-( One of the two 172's is getting a new engine, so when the weather gets good everyone goes after the same plane. I did the ground portion, which is basically an oral exam that covers regs, maint, chart reading etc. Well,  TX-MomDragon says "hi" and sends a S! (now that she knows what that means!)S! TX-EcoDragon
