and WOW!
Takes a little bit of discipline especially with gunnery.  However a quick flick of a key/button and presto.  Guess it would be the equivilant of learning to fly from the superman to the locked cockpit.
Simply lovely to follow a bogie with a little head movement.
Money well spent.  Even if it wouldn't have been a Christmas gift for me.

I have the IR on my wish list, after rudder peddals, ram and a 21" flat screen. My experience with hands off controll items, like game voice, or my 3d glasses has not been that great. With game voice i say FLAPS and she says MAP. I say FLAPS! and she says WEP. I say FLAPS DOWN and she says LOOK DOWN. The 3D glasses make me sick. I can fly in a plane or ride a boat or a roller coaster with no motion sickness. The 3D glasses cause a huge focal problem because they are designed for short depth of field, and IL2 has a 100 K depth of field. The track IR looked great....my reservation was in the smoothness of the panning and that in reaching for a beer I'd be looking at the throttle controlls. I thought the silver dot on the head, combined with the perfect posture looked like meditation.Regards,TX-KingsnakeWhite 1

I have been thinking about getting one also so keep us updated. Biggest drawback I see is forgeting about that dot on my forehead and running out of the house. White 2

LMAO @ Chukar.  Hadn't thought of that senerio.  I am using the mic boom on my headset as the dot holder.KingSnake...I didn't have a problem.  I got a drink, and put a dip in.  Of course it did make the view go the rudder pedals when I got a drink, but I simply Centered the view.  When I got a dip, I paused TrackIR first and kept a front view.By the way....lmao...a lit cigerette works too...heheS~Black 5... end ...
