FB Skins released

Gentlemen,

A reprint from the general discussion board:

Now Forgotten Battles is gold and you are anxiously waiting for the release, we thought it would be a good time to offer you the blank (void) skin templates so that you could start creating some 1024*1024 skins!

Some points to note:

- Only the flyable aircraft are in 1024*1024
- AI planes are mainly 512*512 in order to limit the transfer rate in online co-op missions
- You can create 1024*1024 skins for AI planes but please bare in mind the point above as well as the need for a powerful video card

So here they are for download, broken down by country. Get skinning!

Skins_DE - German planes
Skins_SU - Soviet Planes
Skins_US - American planes
Skins_UK - British Planes
Skins_It+Ro+Pl - Italian(2), Romanian(2) and Polish(1)
Skins_FR - French Moranes(3)

Of note, the P51 mustang void.bmp is included in the american skin package. Also of interest are the M110, the ME210, the JU88, ME323 and others. It appears that most every AI plane has a skin, which is pretty cool. I think we'll eventually be able to have skins for each plane AI or in cockpit either way. Theoretically if they don't change the game with each patch, we'll have our skins ready as each becomes flyable.TX-ZenBlack 6TX Squadron CO
