oooooooooohhh ouch!!!!!!! The P-39 strikes again!!! I love that bird. . .but sometimes I really have to fight with her. . I like the stupid cheap doors. . . the thought of an emergency eggress  from a light plane, after an emergency landing (may have tweaked the airframe), is a little better knowing I can kick the doors and windows  off! (not to mention that G forces act in greater magnitude in turns such that you will not fall towards teh ground anyway, I recently flew with an examiner who would place a (empty) beverage cup on the top of the panel while I did my maneuvers, he asked if I had "heard of those DMV examiners from hell" and said that he was the "designated pilot examiner from hell" (he was actually great fun!).
