My congrats to MH for being some top notch pilots and having much honor. Crew, thanks for posting on the site, I look forward to some genuine collaboration between TX and MH in the future. I think that our two squads can do some great things together and I am excited about it to say the least. TX is working on a training outline and once implemented we will be in a position to expand out and do combined training with MH, which ought to be very rewarding. As far as the server goes, we have had some set backs to say the least. We will have a sever running soon, timing is being worked out by Deck who is providing the box. Cuda, we need to get together to discuss the racing aspect of it...I am not sure that a 24/7 racing server is workable since it appears to require a strong moderator like you to keep it rolling. An unattended server does not seem like it will work in my mind...but I need for you to school me on it so that we can make a decision. Once again, many thanks Crew for registering on TX and for being part of a bang up squadron...its a pleasure to join efforts. TX-Zen"White 1"TX Squadron CO

There's been a slight hitch in the server launch, but I think we have another alternative.  I'll keep you posted with more details as they are discovered.Hang in there, don't hit the silk just yet!!Red2 out.

TX-Zen..I agree that having a dedicated racing server might not be a good idea just yet as the concept of the races in IL2 is still relatively new...and I agree that when they are hosted there needs top be a moderator. Some pilots just still can not grasp the idea of loading "empty"!!...i will be more than happy to key you in on what I and several other pilots have going as far as the races..I try to host on Friday nights as well as Saturday nights if I am here. TX-Deck and Zen..thanks for your hard work in trying to get the server for IL2 up and running and if I can be of any assistance please don't hesitate to ask!....Good Job guys!Rocky...TX-CUDA on UBIhemicudatex on HyperLobby

Cuda...Right now it looks like the most major issue facing us with hosting servers is the fact that it is near impossible to remotely administer an IL2 server at this time.  Zen and I are looking into some options which will allow the server to automatically return online in case the connection drops, as well as a way to change maps, restart the server, load missions, kick llama's, etc... while being away from the "server room".   Until the console version is released, this will be the biggest challenge.  I know Zen is excited about getting this done because it will mean he doesn't have to listen to me bug him about resetting the server any longer.    :)Personally,  and I don't want to overstep my boundries because I don't have access to the phat connection that Zen and Rah do, but I'd like to see us host a racing server or servers.  I think you have helped foster an interest within UBI and Hyperlobby that was not intended by the developers and we should support it.  If Maddox had some snap, he'd go ahead and whip up some skins and reorganize the missions and box up an entire new game!  Keep up the good work!!TX-Deck out.
